Refund Policy
What does our Refund Policy Not Apply To?
- Our refund policy "does not apply" to
dedicated
servers, all Domain Name Registrations, administrative fees, and
additional resources iincluding and not
limited to data storage, data transfer, databases, install fees
for custom
software, over and above those provided by your web hosting plan.
- As a policy, we "do not" offer credits
or refunds for
"hosting time" already "expended".
What does our Refund Policy Apply To?
- "We do give refunds" for full months
unused, if you want to cancel a prepaid service after a
prepayment has been made.
- You "will not" receive any refund for
the current month in use
What happens to my Discount?
If you have prepaid and received a discount, upon
cancellation, we will calculate the refund retroactively withdrawing
the discount back to the start date of the contract. This will result
in paying the full undiscounted price for the months used and receive a
refund of only the
balance. This only applies when a cancellation is requested by the you.
What happens to your payment if you violate any of our terms
of service?
If cancellation is applied by THS Web Hosting due to
violations of any part of our Terms of Service or any other policy
violation, there will be no
refund.
What Currency will I receive for a refund payment.
If you cancel your service and a refund of unused
time or other service is to be refunded, where possible, we will try to
arrange the refund
transactions in the currency of payment and this cannot
be changed afterwards. If it is not possible to refund in the currency
of payment, the refund transactions will be in US Dollars.
How long does it take to get a refund?
- Regardless
of our wishes to resolve such issues quickly, please allow
2-4 weeks for a refund payment.
- We will advise you by email (sent to the registered email
address of your account), of progress and also when a
refund payment has
been made.
Account Cancellation:
- You may cancel your account via a support
ticket or by emailing to the site administrators.
- If you chose to cancel by email, you must use the email
address that you registered when setting up your account.
- If cancel your account please advise us at least 5 days
before the
next Invoice is due to be issued. Payment reminders and recurring
billing invoices are issued automatically periodically before the
aniversary of the next payment. If your account has a balance due at
the time of cancellation, this balance must be paid in full.
Cancellation does not absolve you of any outstanding financial
obligations.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that
all data and e-mail held on the email server is downloaded prior to the
cancellation of the
hosting service, because once the account is cancelled all data is
automatically erased. Email especially cannot be retrieved once deleted
even if the account is reopened after renewing for an additional term.
Modification:
THS Web Hosting reserves the right to add,
delete, or modify any provision of its terms of service at any time
without notice.
Your Responsabilities
It is your responsibility to ensure
that the contact details for your account are always up to date Your
email address is
the primary means of contacting you with important notices and is also
the primary means of proof of ownership of a domain name registration.
It is your responsability to ensure the security of your
account, web site content, databases and that use of the THS Web
Hosting service is not breached by any malicious person or person(s).
We will do our best to provide effective advise on best practices when
asked.
It is your responasbility to ensure payments for all
services are made before or on the day of order, or in the case or
recurring billing, on or before the anniversary day of the first order.
Modifications to our Terms of Service (TOS)
If our Terms and Conditions are modified, you
will be notified by
email sent to the primary email address non record. We request that you
ensure that emails from admin [at] thehostserver [dot] com are not
blacklisted or treated as spam by you or your email service providor.
In other words, put our email address in your white list.
Acceptance of agreement:
By registering as a member of this web
site and by ordering and making a payment for any
service or product that we provide in good faith, you acknowledge that
you have read and accept our Terms of Service and any
other conditions stated in our policy documents. THS Web Hosting
reserves
the right to amend any of our Terms of Service
at any time and without notice
