Thehostserver.com is a web hosting service, and domain name registration service that has been provided by CitecAsia since April 2001.

CitecAsia was a company registered in Thailand where I was able to bring together a fantastic group of graphic artists and programmers. CitecAsia won several international web design awards and was recognised for the quality of web design, programming and graphic art.

Unfortunately one of the results of the 2008 / 2009 Global Financial Crisis, was the collapse of the business and the company closed in July 2010. Even though the company closed, there were existing web hosting and domain registration customers who relied on our hosting and domain services.

THS Web Hosting is now one year old, with many years of experience and still has many customers. The web site has been developed using the WHMCS customer management system to integrate  web hosting services,  domain registration as well as customer accounting, help desk and order processing.

During December 2013, all web sites were successfully migrated to a new data centre located in Chicago, USA, and now offers fully integrated services that manage both Windows (Plesk) and Unix (cPanel) hosting services and, Domain Name Services.

The new system integrates the latest technologies supporting secure layer services (SSL), encrypted customer areas and encrypted customer information. The new system combines web hosting service management, domain name registration as well as customer management into a one stop service.

As part of this development, THS Web Hosting  has also developed relationships with 3rd party partners including 2Checkout payment gateways. We continue our old relationship with TPP Wholesale / Planet Domain who has supported us through good times and not so good times. I am truly grateful for their patience and endless help and advice when I needed it.

A new partner is WHMCS who have also been endlessly patient with their support and advice while I was developing the new web site. It is the WHMCS system that is the core of the THS Web Hosting web site and I want to acknowledge the importance of the system that WHMCS developed.

Our newest partner is Dollar2Host who provide the data center and the systems that integrate with WHCMS. They have been endlessly patient with me and I also want to acknowledge they have often gone that extra step to assist with issues and problems.

THS Web Hosting is not an unlimited resource. In other words, THS Web Hosting is not a "google" with the ability to provide Terrabytes of free disk space, bandwidth or resources. Nothing is ever truely free even when someone claims it is free! While I have used the word free in some of the site advertising and resource lists, I should clarify what I mean when I use the word "Free" and also confirm, if you see the word "Free" on this web site, it actually means included at no additional cost.

THS Web Hosting has no interest in following the global trend of becoming involved in any social networking media. We dont twitter, facebook, blog or anything else and I cannot see the relevance of thousands of "I Like's" from people who have no interest in web hosting or domain registration. The success of this web site is dependant on customer referals, and real testimonials, plus the obligatory Search Engine Optimization to make the web site visible on the internet.

In  setting up THS Web Hosting I have tried to make sure that every hosting plan has all that is needed for each level of web hosting. Now with just two hosting plans each, on the Windows or Unix servers, "the Smart Starter plans and the Smart Value" plans" include all the resources that I think you need, integrated into each plan. Nothing hidden and no hidden extra costs.

The value of the "free" inclusions is considerably more than the cost of a hosting plan. Someone suggested to me the value was approximately $500 US. How can I afford to do this? The answer is that if enough customers take up the opportunity to host their web sites with THS Web Hosting, then economy of scale applies and I even end up making a little money too.
